The problem
Local farms and agricultural businesses often struggle to manage both online and in-person sales through disconnected systems. Selling seasonal produce, CSA memberships, florist products, and farm goods requires efficient inventory management, streamlined ordering, and an integrated sales process that traditional websites often fail to provide.
What we built
We designed and developed a comprehensive eCommerce and order management solution for Morning Glory Farm, enabling the farm to efficiently sell its products online while streamlining in-store operations. The platform integrates WooCommerce with a custom Quote-to-Order and Point of Sale (POS) system to simplify product management, customer ordering, and seasonal sales. WooCommerce eCommerce development — Built a fully functional WooCommerce online store that allows customers to browse, purchase, and manage orders for farm products, CSA memberships, and seasonal offerings through a seamless shopping experience. Custom Quote-to-Order system — Developed a customized Quote-to-Order workflow that enables the farm to generate quotes, convert them into orders, and efficiently manage customer requests for products and bulk purchases. Point of Sale (POS) integration — Implemented a Point of Sale system that synchronizes in-store and online sales, improving inventory accuracy and simplifying daily operations for farm staff. Support for CSA and Florist Corner — Designed specialized functionality to manage CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscriptions alongside Florist Corner products, ensuring smooth handling of recurring memberships, seasonal inventory, and floral orders. Unified farm commerce platform — Rather than managing separate systems for online sales, CSA programs, florist products, and in-person transactions, the solution centralizes operations into a single platform, improving efficiency, customer experience, and business scalability.
