Parampara USA (Wordpress)

The problem
Indian families living in the United States often find it difficult to preserve and pass down their cultural traditions, family rituals, recipes, festivals, and stories across generations. Much of this knowledge exists only through elders and is easily lost over time, leaving younger generations disconnected from their heritage.
What we built
Parampara is a digital family heritage platform that helps Indian families document, preserve, and share their cultural traditions, rituals, recipes, memories, and family history in one private space. It ensures that valuable knowledge is passed from one generation to the next instead of being lost with time. Digital preservation of family traditions — Enables families to record rituals, festivals, customs, recipes, stories, and cultural practices in a structured digital archive, ensuring they remain accessible for future generations. Private family knowledge repository — Provides a secure, family-only space where members can collaborate, contribute, and access shared cultural knowledge while maintaining privacy. Intergenerational knowledge sharing — Bridges the gap between elders and younger family members by making ancestral wisdom, traditions, and practices easy to document, discover, and understand. Diaspora-focused experience — Designed specifically for Indian families living abroad, helping them stay connected to their cultural roots regardless of where they live. Low-friction heritage preservation — Instead of relying on memory or scattered notes, families can create a centralized, organized record of their heritage, making it simple to preserve traditions before they are forgotten.
